This album has been one of my all time favourites for years before I got it on cd, so I was familiar with pretty much all the tracks before getting it. I was introduced to this album, and lemon demon music in general, through watching this here animation(by)of spamton g spamton set to the song 'touch tone telephone' which for a long time was my favourite song from this album, and then my favourite was 'cabinet man' and then lifetime achievement award' and then I kept picking new faves based off spamton g spamton animatics, because this album is very 'deltarune-coded' which is probably why I like it so much honestly. Recently though, my favourites have been 'no eyed girl ', 'ancient aliens' and especially 'spiral of ants ' which has like my favourite outro to a song ever. I love the final verse, and then the trumpets slowly fading out, and the wind of the 'hurricane' mentioned in the lyrics fading in for like a whole minute, it's really great. My favourite of disc B, the bonus tracks, is 'angry people'.
The case it came in is a sort I've never seen before, it's a long piece of card folded into three parts, two parts with plastic holders for the discs and one with paper pocket for the lyrics booklet. The booklet is great, the lyrics are written like code on a computer and in-between lyric pages there's art pages with pictures based off some of the songs! They all follow the limited colour palette of the cover, that being black and maybe three shades of red, and some orange. The art has a like, comic book/pop-art look to it, which makes sense considering Ming Doyle is a comic artist. The disc's designs are great too! The CDs themselves are red instead of silver which is neat, and they're meant to look like rotary phones on the top.
